So, the long-awaited Clone Wars Season 2 Blu-Ray came out yesterday (Just got mine from Amazon,) and Season 3 has already begun on Cartoon Network. I’ve discussed this show before, but I really can’t recommend it enough. It basically takes all the action, character development and intrigue that was missing from the prequels and cranks it all up to ten.

While I still would have preferred the visual style of the original cell-shaded ‘pilot’ minisodes, I do think the CG style has developed tremendously over the three seasons and has grown on me big time. I’d go so far as to say the show is downright beautiful at times, especially in HD. It’s always interesting to see which characters will be featured, what new worlds they will explore, and how exactly the sh*T will hit the fan this week. Bottom Line: RECOMMENDED!
