Today’s List Friday consists of my favorite places to visit on the web. I enjoy these sites, and maybe you will, too. Thought I’d pass ’em along and/or solicit any additional recommendations. (For a slightly less boring list, I’ve excluded my “Home Base” sites, such as CNN, Last.fm, Twitter, Digg and stuff like that. Most of those links are right there in the sidebar anyway.) Enjoy!

  Awesome design news / inspiration on a daily basis!

• Invisible Creature Blog

  These guys do incredible work, and their photo-illustration stuff specifically is a great source of inspiration for me. They also do the whole designers-in-a-band thing, so I can relate (on a smaller scale). It’s always interesting to see what they’re up to.

• Tomopop

  Japanese toys and collector’s vinyl figures. If only I had billions of dollars to buy all of the cool stuff.

• Photoshop Disasters

  Hilariously bad Photoshop mistakes, often from major magazines and advertisements. The fact that some of this gets by unnoticed is incredible.

• TMZ

  I love/hate everything about TMZ. This results in me checking it daily.

• Something Awful Games Forum

  The gaming subforum of the massive Something Awful forums. I rarely post, but visit constantly and get most of my gaming news from there (often before it hits official sites/blogs.)

• Zero Punctuation

  Hilariously awesome game reviews. Been a little dull lately, though.

• IGN Latest Updates

  This is a subpage of just the latest updates on all of IGN’s sites. Good for daily movie/game/TV info.

• Like Cool

  Awesome design / photography / gadgets blog.

• OMG Posters!

  A recent discovery. Great inspiration, and again I wish I had tons of money to buy all of the cool posters added on a daily basis.
